ABA Derivatives Law Conference: January 26 – 28, 2022
Members of McGonigle’s Commodities, Futures & Derivatives Practice will have prominent speaking roles at two high-profile conferences taking place the week of January 24, 2022.
Katherine Cooper, former Chief Regulatory Officer of NYSE Liffe US, and former CFTC Trial Attorney will be chairing the "Enforcement Developments, Part 2" panel at the ABA Derivatives Law virtual conference on Wednesday, January 26. She will discuss issues relevant to parallel civil and criminal investigations relating to the derivatives and futures markets. Elizabeth Davis, Chair of McGonigle and former CFTC Chief Trial Attorney, will also chair a panel at the ABA Derivatives Law virtual conference, titled "Future of Work," on Friday, January 28. This panel will explore the various regulatory and legal issues, as well as the benefits and challenges, of remote and hybrid working environments.
Harris Kay, Office Managing Partner of McGonigle’s Chicago office, will be speaking at the Commodities Markets Council’s State of the Industry Conference, as a member of the "Law Firm Panel" on Tuesday, January 25. He and the other panelists will discuss issues unique to representing members of the commodities industry.
