Katherine Cooper of the firm’s FinTech & Blockchain Practice will moderate a Fireside Chat with former CFTC Commissioner Brian Quintenz at the TABB Forum’s two-city event, "DeFi-ING Expectations: Utilizing Decentralized Finance to Drive Institutional Performance."
The TABB Forum event will take place simultaneously in New York City and Chicago, and the Global Digital Asset & Cryptocurrency Association is co-hosting the event. Increasingly, institutions are exploring how and in what way they may enhance efficiency, execute transactions more effectively, increase return on assets, and maximize profits using DeFi.
The Fireside Chat with Mr. Quintenz takes place on Wed., Nov. 10 at 4:15 pm. Ms. Cooper previously served as Chief Regulatory Officer at NYSE Liffe US, a CFTC-registered futures exchange. Prior to that, she was a Senior Trial Attorney in the Enforcement Division at the CFTC. Mr. Quintenz was sworn into office as CFTC Commissioner in 2017 and served until his term expired in April 2020. Before that, Mr. Quintenz founded and served as the Managing Principal and Chief Investment Officer of Saeculum Capital Management, a registered Commodity Pool Operator that specialized in risk management and technical analysis investment strategies.
