Three McGonigle Attorneys Selected for 2022 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellows and Pathfinders Programs

McGonigle, P.C. is pleased to announce that Partner Lisa Weingarten Richards was selected as a 2022 Fellow by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity ("LCLD"), and Associates Margaret Haggerty and Ella Markina have been selected to participate in the Pathfinders Program. McGonigle is an active member of LCLD, an organization of over 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners working together to build a more open and diverse legal profession.

During her year-long fellowship, Ms. Richards will join a select group of diverse, high-potential, mid-career attorneys and participate in relationship building, in-person training, peer group projects, and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership and corporate and law firm members.

Ms. Haggerty and Ms. Markina were accepted to the LCLD Pathfinders Program, which trains high-performing, early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including leadership and the building of professional networks.

Ms. Richards, a Partner in the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office, is a member of the Banking and Financial Services practice and served for 11 years at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ("OCC") in the Chief Counsel’s Office as a Senior Attorney. Ms. Haggerty is an Associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and provides regulatory guidance to investment advisers, broker-dealers, and exchanges. Ms. Markina is an Associate in the firm’s Richmond office, and a member of the firm’s Securities & Complex Commercial Litigation, FinTech & Blockchain, and White Collar Defense, Investigations & Compliance Counseling practices.
